“ Stumbled across this busy cafe after a walk around National Park. Friendly and welcoming staff. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. We ordered two hot drinks and a Mixed Grill to share. Everything was excellent. Would stop by again when we do another hike around the park. ”
“ Alderley Edge high street is changing with a few new eateries and food offers, however The Village Cafe remains my friends favourite place for a quick breakfast, brunch or lunch. We’ve visited a few times- a table is always available and in good weather the terrace out front doubles the size of the restaurant. There is a mix of locals, business, mums and baby groups. The menu is on the large size with all the usual cafe standards served with a Mediterranean atmosphere. The food arrives quickly, it’s fresh simple and garnished well. The team move at pace are friendly and generally give good service. The coffee is of a high standard here, good choice of milk alternatives and very fairly priced the only thing is that I don’t understand why in 2025 cafe latte is still served in glass cone shaped cups??? Ok ok it could be one of my ‘pet hates’ but the coffee always suffers, it’s never hot enough plus the glass design doesn’t bode well for the staff to deliver safely at pace. ( only feedback) . We had two coffees each changing the second round. We will definitely be back. Thank you team 40 for two inc tip ”

“ Busy friendly cafe with lots of choice and tasty food. We all went for the paninis and they were very good. Mine was the three cheese one - lots of melted cheese coming out the sides which is exactly what you want. And the side salad that came with it actually had a nice dressing (which you don’t often get). Good service. Would definitely go again. ”

We received a really warm welcome, food came out in a timely manner, the team were really attentive without constantly hovering over you. Lovely first experience and atmosphere.
